Available in 250ml, 500ml and 1L - ideal for horses.
Indications: Osteoarthritis and joint/muscle pain
Cats Claw (Uncaria tomentosa): A South American herb with claw-like barbs which allow the plant to climb. Shown to exert a potent anti-inflammatory effect, making it particularly useful in all joint and muscle pain.
Turmeric (Curcuma longa): Although famous for being one of the main ingredients of curry powder, Turmeric has a long history as a medicinal herb in Chinese and Indian medicine. Science has borne out its traditional use as an anti–inflammatory. The anti-inflammatory effect of Turmeric is mainly due to its major constituent, curcumin. Curcumin is a volatile oil which has been shown to exert an anti-inflammatory effect equal to cortisone and phenylbutazone, with none of the toxicity problems associated with these pharmaceutical drugs.
Boswellia (Boswellia serrata): Also known as Indian Frankincense. Research suggests that the potent anti-inflammatory effect of Boswellia is more effective than phenylbutazone. Boswellia also improves blood supply to arthritic joints, thus effecting better and faster repair of damaged areas.
White Willow (Salix alba): Willow is a potent analgesic and anti-inflammatory. It's use for all joint, skeletal and muscle inflammation, has been proven time and time again, and this combined with it's lack of side effects and contra-indications, makes Willow a very safe remedy for all types of inflammation.
Devil's Claw (Harpagophytum procumbens): Due to the presence of the Iridoid Glycosides, Harpagoside, Harpagide and Procumbide, Devil's Claw exerts a potent anti-inflammatory effect. Combined with the plants diuretic action, this makes it an excellent remedy for any arthritic problem.
