A combination of herbs traditionally used for hormonal problems.
Available in 250ml, 500ml and 1L - ideal for horses.
Agnus castus (Vitex agnus castus): By exerting a balancing effect upon the pituitary gland, in particularly the anterior pituitary. Vitex aids in hormone balance. Vitex has been shown to be useful in treating the symptoms of both menopause and premenstrual syndrome.
Pulsatilla (Anemone pulsatilla): Traditionally used for any complaint of the reproductive area. Pulsatilla has a calming, balancing effect.
Dandelion (Taraxicum officinalis): A noted liver herb, useful in supporting the function of the liver. Most PMS symptoms arise from an excess of oestrogen in the body. By aiding the liver in its role of detoxifier, Dandelion plays an essential role in the breakdown and elimination of excess hormones.
Suggestions:
Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) are essential to correct hormone balance.
High strength vitamin B complex is essential for hormone balance.
Good quality multi-vitamin/multi mineral.
Homeopathic Sepia, shown to be useful in helping to maintain hormonal balance.
Directions & Dosage:
The suggested dose on the bottle gives a drop amount.
Small dogs and cats should be given a dose around the lower figure, large dogs should be given a dose around the higher figure. Pigeons and aviary birds, use one drop per bird in drinking water.
Because the combinations are in tincture, it is advisable to put drops into a little hot (not boiling) water and allow to cool before administrating. This allows the alcohol to evaporate off.
