Many customers were disappointed when we removed Boswellia from our MSM Glucosamine Joint Complex because we were no longer allowed to combine medicinal herbs with food ingredients. Now we’re pleased to launch Boswellia & Devil’s Claw as a medicinal herbal formula. Boswellia is commonly known as ‘Indian Frankincense’, or ‘Salai guggal’ in Ayurvedic medicine. The gum resin from this leafy tree contains active ingredients called ‘boswellic acids’. Native to Southern Africa, Devil’s Claw has a long tradition of use as a folk medicine by the local San and Khoi peoples. The herb owes its name to the unusual barbed thorns that protrude from its fruit. Devil’s Claw roots contain active components called ‘harpagosides’. Not advisable if pregnant, taking warfarin or on ulcer treatment.

Two capsules typically provide: 600mg Boswellia standardised extract (minimum 65% boswellic acids). 300mg Devil's claw root standardised extract (minimum 2.5% harpagocides).
